This workshop will get your families imaginations flowing together in a tide of creativity. Using ‘Thames plastic’ – colourful plastic debris collected from the Thames foreshore in East London, (which has been thoroughly washed and disinfected) – you will create your own magnificent planktonic organisms and plankton inspired patterns. Microorganisms magnified!
With the help of a simple but transformative lightbox your work will be photographed and projected during the workshop, then taken apart at the end of the session, so that the final outcome is digital images that you can share and print, and the plastic will be reused.
In partnership with Elizabeth Clough – Red Door Studios.
Suitable for families/groups with children aged 5+
