Hidden Gems LIVE was created by east London rapper Lemzi in 2017 following the release of his single Hidden Gems. After three sell-out events at Rich Mix in 2018 and 2019, HGL has become a standout opportunity for emerging artists in London and across the UK. The aim is to showcase future global stars whilst they are still, to some, undiscovered. Curated by Lemzi, HGL’s collaboration with Emerge Festival will be a late night full of energy, entertainment and passion. For fans of neo-soul, hip-hop, trap, R&B, acoustic music, afrobeats, grime, garage and spoken word.
Emerge is a whole new breed of rule-breaking festival. From DJs and bands to poetry slams and open mic jams, Emerge is a bona fide festival pick n’ mix bringing together some of London’s most electrifying new talent across 50 of the capital’s iconic museums and galleries. They’re the new kid on the festival block. They’re big on creativity, low on convention. Over two nights in September, Emerge Festival will see a creative kaleidoscope of events spread across 11 London Boroughs to enthral wristband holders from dusk to the the early hours.
