Apples and Snakes present a programme of acclaimed featured acts and up-and-coming artists, plus their renowned open mic.

For November, we’re welcoming Kat Francois as our host with performances from:

Theresa Lola is an award winning poet, writer, and brand consultant. She was featured in the ‘Forces for Change’ issue of British Vogue as a next generation talent. In 2022 her poem Equilibrium from her first poetry collection was added to OCR’s GCSE English Literature syllabus.

Amyra León is a musician, author, director and Harlem native, seamlessly transcending genre and medium. She believes the art of listening and honest conversation are the primary tools for lasting change. Her aim is to empower communities to believe in the significance of their individual stories.

Zakariye is a poet, performer, playwright and filmmaker from Birmingham. His work often explores masculinity, faith and identity.
