After a 3 year hiatus, MOBO Award winning Kairos 4Tet return to present new material recently recorded for their 4th album, delving deeper in to the art of song.

Regarded as one of a kind, Kairos 4Tet bridge the gap between classic and contemporary. Their ferocious grooves, searching improvisations and melodies linger long after the music stops.

The band play the distinctive compositions of saxophonist Adam Waldmann, who had been described as ‘a young master in the making by Time Out, and a ‘precociously talented composer and player’ by AllAboutJazz.com.

As well as Parliamentary Jazz ‘Vocalist of the Year’ award winner Emilia Mårtensson, the band features Jasper Høiby on bass (Phronesis, Shai Maestro), Jon Scott on drums (Malatu Astatke, Sons Of Kemet), and some special guests. Expect surprises!

The band’s compostions are open and accessible, but there’s no compromise when it comes to intutive, intelligent, playing and adventurous arrangments

Spellbinding compositions that blend high-calibre jazz improvisation with accesible melodies…a scintillating new opus
MOJO
There are so few new Jazz bands writing complex vocal tunes and this is the band that’s doing it, and they’re doing it so well…vocal melodies are beautiful as are the lyrics. Just beautiful
