Sol Mussa’s miniaturist paintings of Springfield’s animated characters forces those in the margins to step into the spotlight. It breaks down the inherent structures that inhabit their core and presents them with a lack of hierarchy.

Unbounded, the images play to defy the exploitative production practices from where they originated from by using lesser-known figures within the Springfield microcosm.
