For this special screening, we are partnering with three incredible artists and six filmmakers to platform stories that explore the care-leaver experience and broadens the conversation around mental health.
The artists will open the event with a live performance before discussing their processes with the host. Our panel will grow as their set progresses, bringing in their teams: filmmakers, band or co-creators, building the conversation to a crescendo with a screening of the film they made.

Xoul
A vocalist who has refined his vision and skills in a way that combines narrative storytelling with a RnB/indie fusion. His unique tone and intricate lyrics produce thought-provoking and sentimental material that touches the hearts of listeners. After long thought and preparation, this auspicious character has a lot to say to the world.
Bemarques
Bemarques resides in the writers world as a performance poet, lyricist and storyteller. Since 2018, she’s shared an intimate blend of melodies, rhythm and reason throughout her art.
Utelka Johnson
Born and raised in and around Birmingham, vocalist and songwriter Utelka is emerging quickly onto the dance and music scenes. Performing in an array of venues from Birmingham to New York, she has tailored her unique voice and style to steadily increase her fanbase.
