From health and personal safety to professional and financial stability, we must recognise the anxiety generated by the uncertainty that is impacting all aspects of our lives.
Catherine Dyer, Psychological Wellbeing practitioner at NHS Tower Hamlets Talking Therapies, will introduce us to the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy approach to anxiety and provide us with techniques to overcome it. In this workshop you will:
- understand the different types of worry and how they affect our behaviour
- learn a CBT technique to manage the ‘worry spiral’
- the 5 areas model; -receive tips on how to identify and overcome anxiety
- learn how to manage ‘hypothetical’ worries
- find out problem solving techniques that help tackling worry and anxiety
