The night will be hosted by Weapons of Mass Hilarity founder, and BBC New Voices Winner, Jenan Younis. The line-up of performers includes:

Nadz
A Palestinian comedienne who brings hilarious real-life experiences to the stage, from the perils of dating as someone of dual heritage, to body image. She has performed across the UK as well as internationally in North America.

Shirley & Shirley
The best Palestinian-Irish-Surinamese duo on the circuit! Unashamedly untamed, Shirley & Shirley are madcap duo Joanna Carolan and Pascale Wilson. Delivering a deliciously dark feast of character comedy, these two childhood friends have shocked and awed many unsuspecting audiences for over a decade. As seen on the BBC, Channel 4 and Netflix.

Plus, we’ll be welcoming Alaa Shehada, Diana Sweity and Hanna Shammas from PalCom – a Palestinian-UK collaboration which supports Palestinian comedians from Jerusalem to perform internationally.

Diana Sweity from Hebron is an actor, comedian and founder of the Fridge Theatre. Don’t ask why it’s a fridge – just Google it.

Alaa Shehada is from Jenin in the North of the West Bank – ‘the wasps’ nest’. He is a comedian and actor and one of the few Palestinians who’s not married yet.

Hanna Shammas from Haifa is an actor, stage and TV comedian, screenwriter and father of two daughters.

Please note: this is an 18+ event.

Book a combo ticket for this performance and the PalCom workshop for £15 by adding both to your basket before you check-out.
