In this workshop, expect an interweaving experience of structured improvisation techniques with both melody and rhythm with Indian classical, western and African instruments.
Dancer and choreographer, Kamala Devam and composer and multi-instrumentalist, Ben Henry Edwards combine their practical experience, to give you a glimpse into the dynamics of dance and music collaboration. Discussions will explore the practicalities of rehearsing, performing and touring with live music.
This workshop is designed for early career and experienced dancers looking to develop collaborations with musicians.
