Come and meet the underground farmers this January with Diana Redgrave, as we tunnel our way into the new year.  Help shape our own story and make your own worm puppets in this wriggly session for our youngest visitors.

To celebrate National Storytelling Week come into the garden with Laura Sampson and Diana Redgrave to spin stories and songs of spiders and other beneficial creatures that share our outdoor spaces and learn some ways we can make them feel welcome, with a craft to take home.

THE STORYPLAY TEAM
Diana Redgrave is a storyteller, performer, writer, and primary school teacher, specialising in Early Years Education. She has performed solo story telling shows for families and has collaborated with the Millbrook Piano Trio to perform at the Patsy Wood Family Prom in Oxford. She works as a Story Builder at Discover Children’s Story Centre, and as a learning officer in a local Kent museum. She began working on StoryPlay in the virtual world in 2020.

Laura Sampson is a London-based performance storyteller and writer. For children and family audiences she has worked with organisations including Polka TheatreSecret City Arts, Discover Children’s Story Centre, Hackney City Farm, and Acorn Book Club. For adult audiences, she has worked with StoryJam, Crick Crack Club, Inua Ellams’ Midnight Run, the British Library, and various festivals across the UK. She is also a Spinning Yarns Theatre associate storyteller.
