Rabindranath Tagore was a writer, poet, scholar, and above all a humanist who played a significant role in the country’s freedom struggle. Tagore’s work and efforts had a major impact on Bangladeshi history, and he is considered to have influenced the people of Bangladesh on their journey towards achieving independence.

Directed by eminent Tagore Singer Dr Imtiaz Ahmed, Tagore and our Freedom Movement is an ensemble of poetry, dance and music paying tribute to the martyrs of the freedom movement of through the artistic creation of Tagore compositions.
