Electrifying storyteller Usifu Jalloh – the Cowfoot Prince himself –  will be sharing powerful, witty and transformative African stories from his indigenous Limba culture. The screening will be followed by a Q&A.

The Cowfoot Prince follows Usifu Jalloh, a Sierra Leonean Storyteller, from his adopted home in London back to the village where he was born, exploring the lifelong complexities of immigration. The journey charts Usifu’s complex relationship with the country that is responsible both for the execution of his father, and for the skills and wisdom he uses to make sense of the world.

Directed by award winning filmmaker and photographer Bex Singleton, The Cowfoot Prince is currently nominated for Best Documentary Short at New Filmmakers Los Angeles 2020, it premiered at DC Shorts International Film Festival – MovieMaker Magazine’s  top ‘Coolest Short Film Festival’ and is being screened all over the world, from Sierra Leone to South Africa, India to the United States.
