Expect dynamic energy and reflective commentary on UK inner-city culture from Jasmine Kahlia’s 25 min piece 4EVA, supported by Lighthouse Arts Centre [Poole,UK], Strike A Light [Gloucester] Studio Wayne McGregor [London, UK] and Sala Upload [Barcelona, Spain].

Jasmine Kahlia will be telling nostalgic, autobiographical tales of crime, love, loyalty, identity and perseverance in English and Spanish through UK Grime, Electronic music and looping.

Through 4EVA, Jasmine Kahlia bares their obstacles for all to witness, but through adversity mentioned, holds a powerful message of perseverance and creating their own happiness and living their life as a practise of autonomy and joy. This piece is a hit back at explanatory labels placed on Jasmine, and a fight for freedom.

Redz Man – AYY GAI
Redz Man’s AYY GAI will showcase his unique and colourful story of immersing himself in anime and manga, and see him confidently dip in and out of English, French and Lingala through his poetry and self-produced drill music.

Through AYY GAI, you see the childlike and playful element of being immersed in anime and manga, and holding onto a creative environment. Redz Man is an electrifying performer and his lyrical wordplay, craft and original production is something to be witnessed.

Starkey, The Messenger is a 23-year-old MC, producer and artist from Liverpool. Having made music since he was 16, his first release was featured on BBC Radio 1Xtra back in 2020. After a long solo hiatus, he returns this year with new music, with a focus on quality storytelling and penmanship, honesty and vulnerability, and an uncompromisingly revolutionary message.

Tomzy Mayana is an Afrobeats Performing Artist and Song Writer from Lagos, Nigeria. He’s unique for his tropical feel good music and even more spectacular for his crowd control style of performance.

Arden Fitzroy is an award-winning actor, producer, and writer. They believe in experimentation and blurring the boundaries of genre, gender and art forms.

Tobias Zaldua blends soundscapes and electro pop music, delivering a multi-genre experience. His compositions traverse genres, fusing electronics, intricate melodies, sound design and infectious rhythms.

Sly J is a dynamic British artist breaking barriers in music. From Newham, London, he’s a rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer gaining international recognition. Collaborating with global talents like Kailee Morgue, Artjuvia, Harun Rune, Amanda Mellid, and Caitlin Sierra, Sly J keeps the momentum with his latest singles Avengers Flow and Empty.

Paula Riofrio is an Ecuadorian multidisciplinary artist based in between The Galapagos Islands and the UK. Paula started her Theatre Studies in Laboratorio Malayerba, and has pursued a dance path within contemporary dance, ethno contemporary and dancetheatre at Siobhan Studios, National Company of Dance (Ecuador).
