Founded in 1997, the UK Asian Film Festival (UKAFF) celebrates cinema’s power to connect, challenge, and inspire. Showcasing award-winning filmmakers from across the globe, UKAFF offers bold storytelling that expands perspectives and deepens appreciation of film and television.

Returning for its 28th edition, the festival welcomes diverse audiences to experience feature films, documentaries, shorts, long shorts, animations, and experimental work.

The 2026 theme, ‘Stories That Bind Us’, explores identity, belonging, migration, love, and loss, revealing the universal human search for connection and meaning. Through screenings, filmmaker Q&As, and special events, audiences are invited to engage more deeply with both the stories on screen and the creative voices behind them.
