We are Bold Mellon and we are ‘up to no good’ because we reject the notion of perfection and everything that comes with it. All we know and all we have is our community: queer people, queer spaces and queer places that most often exist in a different realm of sublimity. We are excited to present work that defies expectations and kicks conformity – welcoming flaws, contradictions and provocations that create space for discovery and wonder. Expect punk, DIY, raw and authentic art about queerness, community and identity.

Exhibiting artists include Andrew Jenner, Chloe Wing, Corinne, Dear Annie, Emilia Nurmukhamet, Finn Brown, George Rosa Murphy, John Hui, June Bubbles, Kars Dodds, Luciano Rocha, Mairin Margot, MRSN, sama hunt, Tainted Saint, Tommie Pearson, Toni Murphy and Venus Raven.

Bold Mellon is an award-nominated multidisciplinary collective dedicated to delivering deliciously dynamic art and celebrating underrepresented queer creatives. UP TO NO GOOD is curated by Bold Mellon’s artistic directors Amy-Rose Edlyn and Emilia Nurmukhamet.
