Voices of Latin America is a multi-author book mapping the region’s current social movements, which includes testimony from 70 interviews collected across 14 countries.

From indigenous and riverside communities in Brazil resisting the expansion of hydroelectric dams, to students going face-to-face with riot police on the streets of Santiago de Chile; from women in Honduras fighting machismo and violence to socially-conscious graffiti artists and musicians in Bogotá and Buenos Aires, Voices is a rich, diverse and fascinating panorama of activists, leaders, journalists, creatives and others who are resisting the status quo.

With very special guest speakers, Latin American street food, bogotana DJ La Vecina spinning her special blend of cumbia, salsa roots and bass, and DJ Kika spreading love through Brazilian beats and tropical treats, it will be a night of entertainment, celebration and solidarity.

Please note: Cover price of the book is £19.95. Copies ordered with Advance tickets must be collected on the night. Ticket price on the door will be £10.00.
