‘We Created Our Life’ is about inspiring and empowering people to create a life they love. As we become increasingly disconnected from ourselves and others, good communication skills can enable real human heart connection, leading to a happier and more connected community. This all-day event will focus on connection and leadership as a catalyst for change.
As well as talks from motivational speakers, take part in workshops on everything from ‘connected communication for stronger leadership‘ to ‘the importance of connection to the heart through meditation and breath-work‘.
Later, catch performances from David Evans, and watch Isaac Ouro Gnao‘s film The Oreo Complex, a short film of poetry, dance and acting, that explores the ‘oreo’ label through three stereotypes of Black identity; stock up on natural hair care and more at the marketplace; and to wrap it all up, DJ Queenfisher will keep the party going with a special set!
