The Big Give, Arts for Impact is a national match funding campaign – for every £1 we raise via our campaign page, they will match it.
We believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience and appreciate professional film as an art form. We want to offer free cinema tickets and continue working with local primary schools to deliver our film education programme. And for this we need your help!
For one week only, from Tue 19 – Tue 26 Mar 2024, your donation will be doubled.
What is Every Child A Cinema Goer?
Our local community – Tower Hamlets and on the border of Hackney – is home to a diverse population of children who live in boroughs with enormous inequalities, with some of the highest rates of child poverty in the country. We know these inequalities have been made worse since the pandemic and the ongoing cost of living crisis, and that these children have reduced access to arts and cultural activities.
Your donation to Every Child a Cinema Goer will help us provide free cinema tickets to children and enable us to keep building our film education programme Flip the Script, reaching more schools and increasing the number of activities we can deliver – improving learning, aspirations and wellbeing through access to the arts. We will also run an After School Film Club and offer resources and support to teachers.
