Brazil’s Gui Tavares fuses his musical experience with India’s incredible sitar player Baluji Shrivastav OBE.
Brazilian and Indian beats fuse with vocal techniques, rhythms and language in this must-see collaboration. Gui Tavares’ musical journey started St Paulo, via Rio De Janeiro, and has brought him to London. He has performed with Brazilian stars, Ed Motta, Marcos Valle, Joyce Moreno and Azymuth, and performed at the 2012 Olympics. Gui continues to write, perform and educate in London.
Baluji Shrivastav OBE, a blind musician, is one of India’s greatest instrumentalists. In 2012, Baluji performed at the closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games. He has performed and recorded with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Annie Lennox, Kaiser Chiefs, and Andy Sheppard.
Gui and Baluji are joined by Brazilian and Indian musicians + special guests.
Tickets include a free after-show party with the artists.
