Argentinian band Perotá Chingó is a project in constant transformation that today embarks on a new musical and conceptual chapter. It’s been eight years since the summer of 2011 when the video of the song “Rie Chinito” became a viral phenomenon with more than 21 million views to date, and now the band is extending the boundaries of its acoustic style, interweaving folklore, the ancestral evocation of voices and the technological power of electronic beats.
Julia Ortiz and Dolores Aguirre are childhood friends entwined in a musical adventure. Having been touring the world for the best part of the last decade, they now bring their full live show to London for their UK debut.
