To protect him, Peter Quinn (Chris Pratt) must lead the Guardians on a dangerous mission, which could lead to the team dissolving if they fail. Hilarious in parts, and emotional in others, the return of James Gunn’s Guardians family promises the dialogue, fun and colour the series has come to be known for. 

Also featuring the return of Dave Bautista (Knock at the Cabin, Blade Runner: 2049), Karen Gillian (Jumanji, Gunpowder Milkshake), Zoë Saldaña (AvatarThe Adam Project) and Vin Diesel (The Fast and the FuriousxXx), this star-studded ensemble cast has something for everyone. From Fri 5 May we Return to Seoul with the critically acclaimed drama from breakthrough director Davy Chou (Diamond Island). Premiering at Cannes last year, the film starts Ji-Min Park as Freddie, who, on an impulse to reconnect with her origins, returns to South Korea – where she was born before being adopted and raised in France. Looking for her biological parents, in a country she knows little about takes her life in new and unexpected directions.

Asking meaningful questions about the nature of identity, belonging and family, Return to Seoul is ‘a powerful and quietly staggering work, and one of the most engrossing films of [last] year’, according to Collider magazine – read their full review and watch the trailer.

Next up from Fri 12 May is The Eight Mountains, the Cannes Jury Prize-winning drama co-directed by Felix van Groeningen (Beautiful BoyThe Broken Circle Breakdown), and Charlotte Vandermeersch. We follow Pietro, from Milan, and Bruno, who grew up in an isolated mountainside village, over four decades.
