These short-films are the product of our Pic ‘n’ Mix programme – a year-long primary school programme focusing on developing visual literacy and film and media skills run by our Learning and Participation team.

This programme is in partnership with Tower Hamlets Arts and Music Service, THAMES and Into Film, and involves children aged 7-11 from 12 participating Tower Hamlets primary schools, who gain free access to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for their teachers, free film screenings and in-school sessions with filmmakers facilitated by Chocolate Films.

The schools that took part included: St Pauls, Whitechapel, St Luke’s School, Columbia School, Woolmore Primary, Bangdabandhu School, St John’s Schools, Marner School, Lansbury Lawrence School, Thomas Buxton School, and Arnhem Wharf School.
