Rich Mix Resonates puts people at the centre of our live programme, collaborating with artists to co-create culture and events at Rich Mix.

Our first two Resonates in 2022 have led to some amazing artwork. Working with iconic photographer Simon Wheatley, who documented the early days of Grime music in Tower Hamlets in his book Don’t Call Me Urban, a group of photographers based in Tower Hamlets explored what youth culture means to them.

In collaboration with Numbi Arts and Paint the Change, a group of young people developed and designed a new mural on Bethnal Green road, which celebrates boxer Ramla Ali who grew up here. Check out Choose Courage – Bethnal Green Mural.
