Baqir Abbas from Lahore, Pakistan is an enigma! He’s the first Bansuri (bamboo flute) musician to genuinely take this instrument into the world of jazz. He has been described by Wynton Marsalis, the Godfather of jazz, as one of the finest musicians in the world today.
Accompanying him will be 3 epic musicians. One is the sublime blues and contemporary fusion guitarist Hasan Imam Hamdani. Originally from Lahore, Hasan graduated from the Berklee School of Music in Boston, and now resides in California.
Ayoze de Alejandro, from Gran Canaria in Spain is a magician percussionist. He has got all sorts of tricks in his magic box to bring music to life.
Tom Mason is one of the most versatile and recognised double bassists and bass guitarists on the UK music scene. Having performed with Jamie Cullum, Daymé Arocena and Lily Allen amongst many others. Tom is always that binding force on stage.
