This story takes place at Gondar, during the Era of the Princes where the country was divided and ruled by local war lords.

An elderly king, very fragile and on the verge of dying, loses his heir in treacherous circumstances. He orders his two younger sons to avenge their brother and find the killer – whoever succeeds first, gets to claim the throne.

The film explores themes of social divides, warring nations, betrayal, courage, and sacrifice.

This film is in Amharic with English subtitles. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Hildana Belayneh.
