These films have been created through workshops and conversations between children of Bangladeshi heritage and their grandparents in East London.

The films capture the stories of the elders in the community – their journey to the UK, folktales, and events from their childhood in Bangladesh.

The screening will be followed by light refreshments and a panel discussion.

Stories from Home is a collaboration between Mile End Community Project, Department of Linguistics Queen Mary University of London, Human Stories Films, and Blooming Parenting
