His Sickled Journey – Phil Ossai (short)
Femi is a hopeless romantic but serial over-thinker, trying not to ruin his honeymoon bliss with his girlfriend Chanice. After learning Chanice has sickle cell, Femi begins to worry about what he’s in for. Determined to grow the relationship, Femi goes on a journey to learn the ins and outs of the condition, and what that means for his new love.

A light-hearted romantic comedy that explores sickle cell in the context of romantic relationships. Produced in collaboration with Her Sickled Journey & NHS Blood and Transplant.

Happy – Ivan Rodin (short)
Bangis Schastlivyi (‘happy’ in Russian) is a son of an influential Guinean and a Russian woman, and is one of the few Black people born in the USSR. His whole life is a series of fascinating events – from a meeting with his father, whom he has never seen before, to gold mining in Africa, losses and gains. But no matter what happens, he is still happy.
