The film is a show of solidarity between girls and women in the UK and the Commonwealth nations, calling for a greener planet where nobody is left behind and an end to violence against women. The Migration Blanket – Climate Solidarity features over 400 pieces of unique artwork created during the pandemic in extraordinary circumstances.

Refugee and migrant women living in camps, orphanages and other temporary accommodation, are given a voice in calling for climate justice, as are migrant and refugee women from the UK. They worked closely with award-winning British artist, activist and filmmaker, Salma Zulfiqar on this project to call for change.

This screening will be followed by a Q&A.
