Plucked from Belle Reve penitentiary, the world’s most dangerous criminals are chucked together by the government and affectionately named Task Force X.
Their mission? To infiltrate the enemy-filled island of Corto Maltese and destroy Jotunheim, a Nazi-era prison that once carried out lots of weird experiments.
If they didn’t have to work their way through a dangerous jungle environment – where agonising death is always just a footstep away – it’d probably be a walk in the park.
Led by Col. Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman, Suicide Squad, House of Cards, Altered Carbon), the newly formed Suicide Squad encounter plenty of surprises along the way – some being much, much bigger than others.
Margot Robbie (Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey, Bombshell, I, Tonya, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) reprises her role as the twisted Harley Quinn, while Idris Elba (Luther, Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw) stars as the highly skilled hitman Bloodsport.
The mega cast also includes Sylvester Stallone (Rocky, Guardians of the Galaxy), Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit, Thor: Ragnarok), Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy), Viola Davis (Suicide Squad, Fences, Widows), Jai Courtney (Suicide Squad, Terminator Genisys), Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island) and Nathan Fillion (Castle).
