A fun and interactive performance workshop for families to enjoy together, based around popular song, traditional rhythms, and social dances from the Caribbean and South America.
This is a series of four sessions exploring rhythms, sounds, words and movements of Caribbean, Latin American and Carnival culture. Learn new songs and dances, build confidence, improve wellbeing, and have lots of fun through movement games, music-making and collective play. No experience necessary!
Bring a shaker and percussive toys! And come prepared wearing comfortable clothes and shoes.
For ages 5+ (families with babies welcome).
The team who delivered the workshop were extremely welcoming, energetic and passionate. We loved travelling around the Caribbean through traditional songs and beats!
