Baluji Shrivastav, hailing from India, and Boo Boo Sianturi, from Indonesia, create a mesmerising interaction featuring guitar, sitar, tablas, hasapi from Sumatera and other traditional instruments from Indonesia. Baluji will also perform his sitar-guitar suites, which was commissioned by renowned guitarist Timothy Walker, and is soon to be released on Naxos Recordings.
This event is accompanied by a free workshop as part of Baluji’s residency at Rich Mix.
