Bringing together six exceptional Flamenco and spoken word artists from Spain and the UK – including dancer Jesus Carmona, painter Andres Merida and multi-instrumentalist Sabio Janiak, who have paired with The YoniVerse Poetry Collective’s Amani Saeed, Shareefa Energy and Shruti Chauhan, a London-based poetry collective of South Asian women.
Part of the London-wide Flamenco Festival, each artist will develop a response to the theme of Rich Mix’s summer season Be Bold. Be Heard. during a three day residency, and present it as part of a work-in-progress sharing.
