In the second session of Your Toolkit for Resilience we have invited Teresa Quaranta, Psychological Wellbeing practitioner at NHS Tower Hamlets Talking Therapies, to share with us a few powerful Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques to tackle low mood.

In this workshop you will:

  • understand the nature of depression, its causes and influences
  • gain an increased awareness of the symptoms and behaviours of depression
  • learn how to tackle low mood through increasing activities
  • learn CBT tips for boosting motivation when feeling low
  • understand the different types of unhelpful thinking habits and how to recognise and challenge them.
