Colectiva‘s arrangements create an intersection of Afro-Latin and jazz music, producing a genre the group fondly labeled as jazz tropicaliente (hot-tropical-jazz). Winners of the Latin UK Awards’ Best Alternative Act 2019 and the Yolanda Drake Award 2021.
Desta French represents a new generation of Latinx artists in London. Her many inspirations include R&B, salsa, Ccmbia, Latin jazz, hip-hop, lo-fi, grime, and pop, all of which can be heard in her songs, adding to her diverse discography and distinct style.
