Expect a memorable evening of exceptional music, blending tradition and innovation with performances from the Arshid Azarine Trio, the Karaj Collective and special guests.

Karaj Collective present a blend of new compositions, improvisation and original fusion music, combining Persian traditional music with jazz and blues. The ensemble features three distinguished Iranian musicians: guitarist Pouya Mahmoodi, known for integrating traditional folk scales with blues and jazz, percussionist Ali Nourbakhsh, who explores the intersections of Iranian, Western, and South American rhythms, and bassist Saleh Zarei Lal Abadi, whose career spans metal to experimental jazz. They will be joined by versatile Kurdish singer Sahar Zibaei on vocals.

The Arshid Azarine Trio is a leading force in Persian jazz, blending Iranian artistry with global influences. Their albums, 7 Djan and Sing Me a Song, feature a mix of Iranian and international collaborations. With Arshid Azarine on piano, Habib Meftah on percussion and vocals, and Hervé de Ratuld on bass, their performances have dazzled audiences at venues like Elbphilharmonie, Giardini della Filarmonica, and La Seine Musicale. Recently, their work with the Barayé collective, supporting the “Femme, Vie, Liberté” movement, has earned notable acclaim, including shows at Le Trianon and Théâtre du Châtelet.
