Dysfunctional humanoid robots invite you to help them create EU 2.0. With a focus group of Londoners and live-composed digital illustration and sound, each event is spontaneous and unique. This unconventional theatrical experiment puts our democracy under the microscope: will we collectively discover a way to resuscitate the dream of Europe?
STEREO AKT is one of the most progressive Hungarian contemporary theatre collectives, creating event-like performances using new dramaturgies and technologies on stage and in public spaces.
Since 2013, STEREO AKT has created 15 performances, a documentary movie, a number of smaller-scale artistic projects and worked on collaborative projects in the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Poland, Spain and the US.
European Freaks was created with the support of Zimmertheater Tübingen, Allianz Kulturstiftung, Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg, National Cultural Fund of Hungary. This performance comes to Voila! Europe with the support of the Hungarian Cultural Centre London.
