Ricardo Garcia hails from the motherland of flamenco: Andalucía, the heart of southern Spain. His music rings with the fire and passion that defines the tradition – but this melting pot of a show, fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe, also captures the essence of this virtuoso guitarist’s travels around the world.

Flamenco Global takes its cues from Spain – but also from the music Garcia has encountered and played on trips as far afield as Malawi, India and the USA.

He’s joined for this London date by a suitably international group of collaborators: Venezuelan bassist Adolfredo Pulido, Barcelona-born percussionist Demi Garcia Sabat and, at centre stage, Japanese-Canadian flamenco dancer Nanako Aramaki.
