Tamasha has teamed up with Stage One to bring you, Intro to Producing – the event to finally demystify the role of a producer.

Chaired by Titilola Dawuda (Hear Me Now) this event is for those who have no experience, but just a keen interest in theatre and an eagerness to learn more about producing. The session will explore all aspects of producing, including booking venues, budgets, fundraising, managing teams and marketing. We’ve also lined up some top producers (names TBA), so get your questions at the ready and start picking some brains.

Stage One is a charity that supports new theatre producers and productions through education and investment. If you’re an aspiring theatre producer, Stage One can help get you on to the first rung of your career ladder.

This event is suitable for: Those with no experience of producing but an interest in theatre. For actors / directors / theatre artists who want to explore the role of a producer. For theatre administrators / trainee producers who want to learn more about producing a show. This opportunity is open to all ages and locations within the UK, but positively aimed at those who identify as a person of colour or Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic (BAME) heritage.
