Recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the album explores notions of homecoming and connection with his ancestors. Matt B touches on his ancestral roots, his feelings of visiting the Motherland for the first time, and shares some indigenous stories from the continent. ALKEBULAN features sonic elements from different countries in Africa like Namibia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Nigeria, and more… but with Matt’s own special twist.
