Following sold-out productions of HOME (2019) and Arawelo (2018), Side eYe Productions return to Rich Mix in partnership with Kayd’s Somali Week Festival with the one-night-only premiere of MUNA KNOWS IT ALL. Written and performed by Sabrina Ali, the play is a true crime satire that explores the aftermath of a wedding day disaster that left Haleema’s wedding dress destroyed. Aspiring crime investigator Muna takes it upon herself to get to the bottom of it, leaving no corner unturned.

After each performance, Side eYe Productions’ producer and director duo Hannah Abdule and Poppy Clifford will sit down with writer and actor Sabrina Ali to discuss the making of MUNA KNOWS IT ALL. Joining them is Ubax Abdi, a London born Kenyan-Somali arts administrator who is the founder of Cheche Books, a pan-African bookshop and community space in Nairobi, Kenya,

Somali Week Festival is the largest Somali Festival outside the Horn and takes place during the UK’s Black History Month in London from 23 Oct – 31 Oct. #SWF2021
