Nannies and Fighters features dog owners and their oral histories, which create a picture of working-class life in the East End, alongside research on the rehabilitation of the image of these dogs, from the violence of bullfighting to becoming soft, loyal ‘Nannie’ dogs.

This exhibition will be accompanied by a series of workshops open to youth groups and the public, exploring homes, protection, and class through making and self-publishing.
