This thought provoking evening will encourage us to explore why – and under what conditions, values and cultural norms – sexual assault has become normalised in our society. We give platform to rising change-makers; people and movements who aim to challenge societal norms and collectively confront this reality so that we can together establish how to create lasting change.
The evening will consist of a screening of their award-winning documentary ‘100 Women I Know’ a book reading, spoken word performance and panel discussion with Africa Brooke, Jamie Windust, Jordan Stephens, Liv Cassano & Phil Samba.
100 Women I Know are on a mission to dispel blame culture, strengthen solidarity amongst survivors and prevent people from becoming victims, perpetrators and bystanders of sexual violence. They are working hard to create ever-more inclusive spaces, and welcome all people into this vital conversation.
You can purchase a copy of ‘100 Women I Know’ the book along with your ticket. Click BOOK NOW to see ticket options. The book chronicles women’s accounts of rape and sexual assault.
