In this family workshop you will learn how to create your very own Bangladeshi doll using different materials and patterns. Oitij-jo Collective will be on hand to share their expertise and help you create your own custom Putul.

There will also be a screening of Sabiya Khatun’s and Rainbow Collective’s film Peter Bear visits Bangladesh.  Produced by Tower Hamlets Local History Library and Archives and the National Portrait Gallery.

You will have the opportunity to share your memories of Bangladesh through postcards and intergenerational conversations. Come and share your experiences – all ages are welcome!

Designer Shama Kun will be facilitating the session on behalf of Oti-jo Collective and Tati Canteen, an initiative of the Oti-jo Collective, will be providing the light refreshments.
