Leading singers of Indian and Bangladeshi origin celebrate the glorious evolution of Bangla music through a world-class presentation of different genres including Kirtan, Shyamasamgeet, Ramprasadi Vaishnav, Baul, Pre-Tagorian, Pancho-Kobi and Adhunik as part of our “highest-quality and largest festival of Bengali music outside Indian subcontinent”.

This event will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the language movement in Bangladesh through some hypnotic presentations by the finest child-prodigies from British-South-Asian diaspora.

Poet T M Ahmed Kaysher will be curating the show, with a brief introduction on the history and background of each genre.

Please note: there will be relevant translation and brief introductions on the performance when necessary.

Suitable for all ages.
