These free doula sessions are for Black pregnant women, specialised and culturally sensitive support to reduce the health inequalities that Black women face during pregnancy and childbirth in the UK.

The Village is a parents development programme under the Black History School which supports Black parents in and around the UK.

These sessions will take place on Zoom on:

Wed 24 Feb 2021 – 7-9pm

Wed 31 Mar 2021 – 7-9pm

Wed 28 Apr 2021 – 7-9pm

Wed 26 May 2021 – 7-9pm

Wed 30 Jun 2021 – 7-9pm

Wed 28 Jul 2021 – 7-9pm

We are asking everyone that signs up to this session to complete a short form at the beginning and end. The information you provide will help us better understand the success of the project and areas that can be improved.

We are hoping to expand this programme in the future, and your feedback will help us so that we can apply for future funding to support more women to access this.

These are repeat sessions so you will only need to attend one of the time slots that suits you.

Black History School is supported through funding from National Lottery Community Fund, with additional support from British Land.
