Nadine Khouri is a British-Lebanese musician and songwriter influenced by dream-pop, film soundtracks and spoken word poetry. Her debut album ‘The Salted Air’ was produced by John Parish (PJ Harvey, This is the Kit.) A haunting collection of poetic meditations on loss and transformation, the album cemented Khouri’s one-to-watch status; it was hailed by MOJO as “A thing of dark possessed beauty” in their four-star album review, celebrated by Q (Critics Choice) and selected as one of Rough Trade’s Albums of the Year.

Nadine has recently announced details of her second album Another Life, to be released November 18 on Talitres.

In the past few years, Khouri has performed in some of Europe’s most prestigious venues (Royal Festival Hall, Paradiso, Botanique, Eglise St Eustache, Union Chapel, Berlin Palace, to name a few).

Nadine’s voice is undeniably beautiful. But as well as beauty, there is an intimacy that makes her images come alive, and a gravitas that focuses her anger, particularly when directed at the corruption she sees in her homeland
Meditative, spectral dreamscapes … extraordinary voice: a fragile, sensuous instrument” – MOJO “Lush, dreamy songwriting with a gilded edge… Deliciously moody.
CLASH
Khouri’s voice is breathy, sensual, beguiling, meditative and her phrasing is a joy
