Vanessa Rani accompanied by Wonky Logic are here to get you settled in. Sheffield-born, London-based Mauritian vocalist and percussionist Vanessa Rani, and fiancé and fellow musician, Wonky Logic, have been in recent collaboration exploring rhythm, melody and creative expression through the art of simply living life. They perform after the recent release of their single, Peculiar Things.
Isobella Burnham is up next. Isobella is a bassist, vocalist and composer from London. She grew up in Barbados where she soaked up the rich musical culture, before returning to London in January 2018 and has since played bass with Steam Down, Tom Misch and Sampa The Great. She’s toured around Asia, Europe and Africa playing festivals and headline shows. She released her brilliant debut EP Dancin’ Garuda in May 2021.
And finally we have Jana Saleh who is sure to get you dancing. Jana is a DJ, musician, performer and producer from Beirut, Lebanon, currently based in London. You might have caught one of her sets at Lazarus’ Arts and Culture events like Wait..What, Where? In her DJ sets she always makes sure to highlight Levant sounds and productions.
Sister Sessions platforms women and non-binary musicians. All genders and ages are welcome to attend.
